From the Salon Floor
to the wedding world
From my first day of cosmetology school I immediately fell in love with hair. As soon as I enrolled, I got a job at the front desk of the best salon in my hometown. When I graduated, I quickly got swept up in cuts & colors.
And then it all fell apart.
I was actually pretty horrible at coloring, and no one would trust me with scissors near their hair. My salon put me on probation because so many clients were complaining about their services. So I decided to quit to do the “normal” route and go to college since hair was clearly NOT working out.

That’s when the wedding industry found me;​
While I was in school, I got a part time job at a blow dry bar and got my first taste of styling for weddings. This blow dry bar also happened to do makeup applications and I fell in love with all things wedding.
I started doing weddings at the blow dry bar every weekend. I was on their travel team & started posting my hair and makeup looks to Instagram. When I received my first wedding inquiry on my own, I was elated that they wanted ME to do their glam. But when I had no idea how to actually book them, I knew I messed up somewhere. This led me to:

And now I have serviced over 750 weddings with a back end so you good, you'll wonder why your hair & makeup artist is your most communicative vendor.
